ILLEGAL SIGNS BLITZ IN WARD 3

I have received a number of enquiries from residents regarding the proliferation of illegal signs.

This spring there have been an abnormally high number of complaints regarding real-estate as well as the use of small advertising signs throughout the Town. These signs seem to be utilized more aggressively this season particularly over the weekends.

Between April 21 to 25, I asked our bylaw staff to conduct a clean-up blitz whereby over 300 illegal signs were removed from the Town’s property. I am committed to ensuring the cleanliness of our neighborhood. Residents can contact the bylaw department via email to [email protected] or call 905-771-0198 to report illegal signs on public property.
